Lia | Quickie update

This morning, someone rang the doorbell. I thought it was Allie but it was a delivery man from the post office.

Delivery man: Good morning, are you Jean Shen I-Ling?

Me: Hi. No, she's inside.

Delivery man: She needs to sign something.

Me: Okay, wait..

Then I called sis, and Mom was curious to know what was happening.

Jean: What do I have to sign?

Delivery man: It's a delivery for your purchase.

Jean: Oh!!

After signing on some paper, the man gave her a sealed transparent plastic bag, then Mom and I were eager to know what was inside. Then sis tore it open and took out a yellow minidress - GORGEOUS!

Jean: Bought this online.

Mom: How much?

Jean: 45 dollars. Zara.

Me: Omg when?

Jean: Two weeks ago.

I'm so jealous! I wanna online-shop too! My sister really knows how to choose nice clothes online.

Allie | Reinqueens

Alright, I'm gonna blog about my all-time favourite game on the PlayStation ever...

Reinqueens!

I'll tell you why I love it. First, the storyline is really amazing. Second, the graphics are way way way awesome + cool (coolsome :P). Third, the animation drawing rocks. And fourth, I love the characters! <3> :)

Alyezia is my favourite character. She's:

- very pretty (as pretty as Princess Samantha)

- hot (really shapely)

- kind (yes, she's ever so kind and nice!)

- smart

- fast, agile and strong

- cool (she can summon a thunderstorm to stop and hold it up with her hands! and not to mention her ability of melting gold)

- funny and serious at the right times

Yup (: Princess Samantha isn't that bad but she's not as interesting as Alyezia. By the way, Alyezia is pronounced as: Uh-lai-zia. Not Uh-lee-yeh-zia, mind you! LOL.

I'll tell you about Princess Samantha too. She's pretty but hardly smiles (because of her tragic background), compassionate and Jeff likes her. ;)

Lia | loves salads

Since young I've always loved salads. Various types! So when I go to restaurants I'd order an appetizer dish (salads). Without fail :)

1. Buffet with my family and Allie's family at Lemon Tree

This was on Sunday, and there was this special offer thing. Well I really enjoyed it! Jean ate the most, I think :P God knows how she's still so slim. At first the waitress said that it's better that we split into two groups so that the table is more spacious. So, it was the parents on one table and the kids one another. (Typical!) Then the waitress came back and told us that there's this long table available, and it's in an air-conditioned room, like mainly for parties and all. So we went to check it out... It was like a banquet table! :O Anyways yea. There was another family in that room having a birthday party for their grandpa.

Oh, I forgot to mention what we wore :) On Saturday morning, I was lying down on bed and thinking for a very long time. Then I resumed to do my normal stuffs :P In the evening I came back to my room. Lols. I decided to be quite casual. Spaghetti strap top.

Then my mind was at peace :D So I was reading... Then Jean came in.

Jean: So what are you wearing?

Me: Spaghetti strap.

Jean: Omg, so casual?

Then I was thinking, "What?! A dress?" Dresses are too grand right? Turned out that Allie was going in a dress too! So I was like the odd one out, I think? But I still went casual in the end. The next morning, we got ready and all. Mum said that we shouldn't have breakfast to save our tummies :) I wore my brown wedges to match my skirt. Then Allie and her family were ready and came out. Okay this is what everyone wore.

Mum - Pink dress

Dad - Long sleeves, collared

Jean - White tube dress

Auntie - Cream coloured dress

Uncle - Batik

Allie - Spaghetti strap dress

Mirelle - Blouse and skirt (all pink!)

Yup, back to the buffet, it was really YUMMY and scrumptious! We ate a lot :) Loved everything, especially the cream prawns, salmon, beef chop, SALADS and soups. You guys should totally go to Lemon Tree to have buffets! The japanese cuisines there are just great!

It was really fun chatting while eating with Allie and Jean. And Mirelle. Mirelle was just looking forward to her icecream :) Haha! Towards the end, our parents were still happily chatting so we thought that they're never going to stop! Lol! So we ate some more :D Heh. The sherbet icecreams were great, especially the strawberry. Then the four of us decided to take a walk outside. We camwhored! Will post them up on Facebook so you guys can see our outfits :D Jean went around taking pics of the food too. I look forward to family functions like this!

2. Desiree's party

When Des was announced as the head prefect, we were all cheering like crazy! I mean, our table. (Me, Allie, Rachelle, Sabby, Candice and Xing E) Cos it was announced during Lunch when everyone was in the cafeteria. So Allie and I planned a celebration party for Des. We called everyone that night and made all the plans. So the next day (Friday) after school, Rach, Sab, Xing E, Allie and I followed Candice home. Candice's driver first drove us to Subway Burgers for lunch, then we headed off to Candy's jaw-dropping mansion! Love it!

Anyways, we all had loads of fun when Candice was touring us around her mansion (mainly for Des and Sab who have never been there). Then we had a long bonding chat in Candice's bedroom which was nice because we hardly ever get to talk to Desiree ever since she became a prefect. We camwhored, explored, danced, sang and so on.

At about 6, we girls got ready. The night before we informed everyone to bring formal dresses, combs, lipgloss and so on. Everyone looked stunningly beautiful! Will post the group picture up on Facebook soon.

Then Candice's dad drove us to the Grandios Hotel, where Allie and I made reservations and all. So it was another buffet! Ahaha ;D Anyways, it was sooo fun. Love you guys!

Lia | Online shopping

Oh no! Allie and I have been talking about online shopping for quite some time but we haven't tried it yet. Got some useful tips and advice from the professionals, i.e my sis and her friends.

Tip: The best things to shop for are dresses.

Hmm.

Today we received awards at school. Allie got the Top Maths Scorer, and I got Biology. Then all the prefects gave speeches which was sort of to determine who gets the Head Prefect post. The speeches were very lengthy and deep, (mainly on leadership, haha) but I must say that everyone was amazing. Desiree, you were awesome!

Allie's parents and mine are planning to go for a BUFFET! *hysterical cheers* Functions together with Al's family really rock. Probably it'll be at Lemon Tree. But I have a problem,,

I do not know what to wear!

Seriously. I've been there many times and I've worn almost all of my formal clothing.

Allie: Go for something simple this time. Not all buffets are formal.

But I always fear that I'll be the odd one out. Like one time I went to church with a T-shirt and miniskirt, I felt like disappearing. (Yes, churches are formal!) It was when I was 10, I think. (and trying to be hip! Ha, ha)

So basically we have all been studying, studying and studying for Assessments 3 for the past month or so. Juline topped the class again, as always. Congrats, Juline!

Yesterday (Saturday), Mom, Dad, Mirelle and I went to our relative's house. My aunt (Dad's sister) prepared delicious food :D I'm not sure if it was her who prepared them or the owner of the house, Uncle Yong. Anyway, we met up with some of our cousins, Nicole, Tara, Mike, Ling, etc.

After that, on the way home, Dad stopped by at Borders. Mirelle got some of the Mary Kate and Ashley books.

Now that Assessments are over, we're planning to go online shopping. The stuff are kinda expensive, though, but Jean said that her friend managed to get a few tops that wasn't available in the Forever 21 stores. I wonder if I should try???

We've got a new Plasma TV. I watched Gossip Girl because I felt bored.

Oh, about the Five Times campaign, I think I've managed to wear all my clothes already. So, is it still on, guys?

Guess what I dreamt about? You'd never guess it. I dreamt about the silly thing we had (Candice week LOL) to tease Candice about her girly-ness. And that we had to wear what she wore, skirts or dresses. Random?!

Yesterday, sis' friend came over. I was bored so I went to her room. They were online shopping! It was cool. I asked if I could buy anything from the site but Jean told me to ask Mom first.

Me: Mom, can I go online shopping too?

But I couldn't find anything I wanted. I called Allie to come over. We saw this polka dot dress we both liked but the size is more like Jean's size. So, too bad. Alyson ended up buying more than Jean. Up to $ 100, I think?

I don't know whether I should get anything from there. Any of you go online shopping? :)

So there's the 5 times campaign right? Today, I was looking in my closet and found a few clothes that I've bought but never worn. And there was this particular V neck top which I decided to wear. And when I put it on, it didn't fit! Too big? No. Too small. That's why this campaign is good. I wish it started earlier. Sigh. A top I bought, never got to wear it and never will. Gone to waste.

School was alright today. Des, we miss you! Some random 7th grader girl came up to me and said that Justin and I make a good couple. We were like, "Err...". Just because I was talking to him! =.=

Lunch was spent by consoling Rach who is still upset over it. Don't worry, Rach! Sab is gonna try to help you get it. :)

omg. omg. OMG! today was horrible. HORRIBLE.

so I had a little quarrel with mom. 3 of us were in the mall - me, Roxy and mom. we were eating in Tony Roma's. then a little argument broke out. and she was still furious no matter how LITTLE little is. paid the bill, followed her out as she went stomping away. obviously Roxy and I didn't wanna delay her because she wants to head home fast.

THEN! Roxy and I walked past a shop. I don't know if it was the sign, "SALE!" or the really, really nice skirt displayed in front of the shop that caught my attention. there were so many colours available!!! it's something like what candice has. abercrombie, above knee skirt with layers. LAYERS. you should know how much I LOVE skirts with layers. yea anyway. Roxy and I saw it at the same time, and just when I was about to open my mouth to shout, "mom! stop for awhile," I remembered the freaking argument! and we just walked past that shop.

in the lift, I was thinking and thinking how to get mom to wait so I can look at the skirt. but no. she was mad, and I could see that. so I just kept everything in and went home. and the skirt I wanted? well, too bad, rach.

we don't go to this mall very much because it's far from where I live. I doubt we're going back there soon, and I doubt that mom would want to make a trip there just so I can buy it. OMG I really want that skirt!!! :(

then I went online at home, and changed my personal message to: IWANTTHATSKIRT. lots of friends asked me, "what skirt?" and Matt was online too.

Lia - Resolution?

I'm gonna wear all my clothes at least 5 times.

If you have the time, just pick out any random form of clothing from your closet and think if you've actually worn it 5 times. If you wear your clothes about once or twice each, how can you call it worth it? And you're gonna have to dispose it anyway cos you'd grow out of them. Agree?

Roxanne's birthday party was yesterday. Fun! Met some of her friends. Like Mindy. Lols.

I love the beach. Don't you? If I could be anywhere but here, it'll be a beach. The feeling of standing on the sand with the cool sea breeze blowing against your face. And seashells. Such a nice place. :)

Yesterday Justin messaged me for Maths solution. And I discovered that e.g 2 to the power 2 is written as 2^2 in messaging. I didn't know that until I asked sis. I'm such a noooob x)

Lia ; Holiday!

On Easter, Allie and I went to Rachelle's house for their party. Allie and I insisted that we went first to 'help out'. xD Nah, our help wasn't really needed so we sat around in Rach's room. Roxanne couldn't fit into the halter neck and the shorts that Allie brought so Rach took them. Later on, our parents came along with other guests.

It was a very formal party! Since Rachelle's Mom is the organizer/host. We sang some songs, ate and chatted away. We met Rach's cousins, Eleanor and Tiara. Everyone called Eleanor 'Ellie' so she and Allie were kinda mixed up. Haha! It was quite funny. Eleanor and Alinea sounds quite similar, don't you think?

Then we asked Eleanor what people call her other than Ellie. She said Lea. HAHA! A classic x)

We mostly sat around on the sofas eating or drinking. Mirelle wore a bunny hat when she came :) Ah, so adorable. We wanted to walk around downstairs but the Moms said no. Lol. Allie and I wanted to sleepover at Rach's but again our Moms said no. Shucksssss!

The next day, I was sorting out my closet and I decided to remove some of my clothes from the closet. I found quite many of them which I couldn't fit into anymore.

Now my closet is kinda empty! Well, not really but I took out about 10. Allie cleared her closet as well, and she found about 16 shirts/pants/shorts/skirts/dresses that she couldn't fit into anymore. So many, and so shocking too! Haha! I went through my closet another time and took out 2 more. There's one dress that is so nice and very expensive as well but when I tried it, it was too tight. :(((((

Allie told her Mom about the old clothes, and her Mom told her to double check before disposing/donating/handing them to Mirelle. Then Allie was so happy because her Mom let her shop for clothes again :)

Allie - Shopping "diet"/allowance watch

Heard of that?

Well, today Mum brought Mirelle and I to town and there were many boutiques along the street. Then when I wanted to go and look around, Mum told me that I really have so many clothes and I should think twice before buying more. And she also said that I was fortunate that I was able to shop for my own clothes.

So yeah, went home and talked to Lia about it. I guess we'll have to learn how to spend less of our allowance on clothes. So I was feeling kind of guilty. And I do admit that I have more than enough clothes. Mum said that I would eventually grow out of them anyway, so it isn't worth it cuying clothes that are worn a few times before getting thrown away.

Starting from today, Lia and I are going to spend the minimum on clothes, or none at all, and also clear up our closet to eliminate all those take out the clothes which we seldom wear.

Lia - Allie's birthday

Best friends for so many years, I came up with the idea to throw Allie a surprise birthday party. Planned this in a week; called them to join us but Sab, Alisa and Jeiya couldn't make it.

So everybody gathered in my house at noon, after I rang Allie to get ready to go to the mall (Paragon). It was supposed to be at 2 but when I called her around 1.50 she said that she was choosing between a white skirt or a denim skirt. =.=, I tell you. Lols! At 2.10, she opened the door and we screamed, "Happy Birthday!!!" Allie looked very pretty and hot. ;D Lol!

It was a fun trip. As she and I came back from Paragon, sis brought over the cake and we sang her Happy Birthday. At first we wanted to have the little party at the poolside but the birthday girl didn't want to get bitten by mosquitoes. x) Lol!

So we chat, ate the cake and Allie changed into the pink mini dress I bought her from Forever 21. Thank goodness it fit her, because it fit me when I tried it so I thought that it was the correct size. Allie showed it to our parents and everybody said that it was very nice. :) So we spent the night chatting and I also 'fashion showed' some of her clothes for the fun of it. :D

Allie - My Surprise Party

So my birthday was on a Sunday this year. About 10 in the morning, Lia called and told me to get ready to go to the mall at 2. And Mom obviously had no objections to it :) I took quite a long time to get changed because it was my special day! :3 After ages of deciding on what to wear, I finally went with a white hairband, a V-collared top with a white skirt. Heh.

Then when I took my bag and opened the door, they screamed, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" leaving me in quite a shock. There was Lia, Rachelle, Roxanne, Candice, Desiree, Meira, Sarena and Jean outside the door! They gave me birthday hugs and presents, still outside my door (Lol!) and Jean went back inside. We went downstairs and Candice's driver took us to the mall.

So the first thing we did was to eat at Tony Roma's. Ate, talked, ate, laughed, ate, talked and talked some more! Haha. Then we walked to Forever 21 and tried on many clothes. Spent a long time there, and everyone was busy looking at the clothes. I bought a pair of shades since Mom thinks I have way too many clothes.

Basically all that we did was to shop, chat and eat. It was a fun day in a nutshell! Desiree, Meira and Sarena had to go home first so Rachelle, Roxanne, Candice and Lia came over to my place.

Then they made me open all the presents. Thank you so much, guys! Love everything :) In random order:

Thanks sooooooo much, guys! It was a happy day. After everyone went home, Lia and her family came over and we celebrated with Jean's delicious chocolate cake. (Thanks, Jean!) They sang the birthday song, then our parents chatted all night while Lia made me change into the gorge pink mini dress that she got me. It fits! :D I love it.

So I finally have a new handbag! Yay! :) Thanks again, everyoneeeee! <3>

Lia - The dance

The dance was a success! Everybody liked it, even Miss Sarah. We decided to wear long-sleeved flowy tops and jeans. (Sorry Rachelle, we didn't go with white dresses. Haha!)

Anyway, everybody remembered their steps, we were well-coordinated although we had some trouble getting the sound system to work at first. Ahaha! So we took the stage, and Miss Sarah said it was very good.

Lynnette's group was good too! They danced to Me & You by Cassie. Good song. Miss Sarah said that they would have been as good if their steps were more graceful then hiphop-ish.

Next week we have something interesting. Modeling! *ahem Candice!* It's a pity Candice isn't in our class though. Miss Sarah briefed us on it, and we have to model clothes/bags that are in fashion now. She says that we're girls and so we should have a good sense in fashion. Then Miss Sarah made us watch an episode on America's Next Top Model (which reminded us of Candice!) to show how a catwalk is done. Ahaha!

Hey! Today was funfunfun. After school, Judy, Alisa and Jeiya followed us back (to Lia's place). We managed to finish the dance today! And for the dance we can wear anything we like, as long as it's appropriate. We were choosing between our own choice and just P.E shirts, and we decided to bring our own ''costumes'' to change before Talent Time. Meira's group is doing the same. (I think that's what everyone would do.)

After finishing with all the steps, we went through the whole dance again and again, just to make sure that we're good and we don't forget any steps. After being convinced, we discussed on what to wear. Still choosing between

2) Frilly (layer) skirts with T-shirts
3) Long sleeved flowy tops
4) Halter necks with knee length pants
5) Spaghetti straps with knee length pants

Hey! Allie and I are back from Judy's. It was fun! Sadly we only managed to do only half the song. Will continue tomorrow at my place! ((:

After school, Allie, Alisa, Jeiya and I followed Judy back. Her house is a mansion! It's so huge and awesome and niceeee! There's a pool, basketball court, sauna and gym. Like, whoa seriously! Then we asked Judy who she plays basketball with. She said she plays with her dad, sister, cousins, friends, etc and then we met her sister for the first time! Her name is Lyla. A year younger, and looks just like Judy. Haha.

Then we took turns to shower, and Lyla let some of us use her bathroom. And later we went down to eat some yummy pizza. Alisa made us laugh so much. Anyway we went to Judy's room and started with the practice.

We showed different dance moves and chose the appropriate ones. It's a little ballet-ish but it's not bad. Suits the song. Then Judy asked what we're going to wear to dance to it, and Alisa said, "T-shirt." Hahaha!

Jean picked us up about 5-ish. Allie came over for a bit to practice the dance again. Lols. She's still here.

School was okay today. Mrs. Monique was in a good mood.

For Talent Time, we're required to do something with music. Quite obvious that we have to perform a dance or sing a song. Yay! So those in our group are Lia, Alisa, Jeiya, Judy and I. We asked our teacher what song she wants us to dance to, and she told us that she wants slow pop. We chose T-shirt by Shontelle. Good choice?

So Judy invited us to practice at her house tomorrow. Each one of us would think of good steps and discuss them at her place tomorrow. Lols.

I suddenly feel like getting myself a new bag. Sick of the old one! I'm thinking of getting a Roxy bag. Or maybe I could get like those big designer bags (have been craving for them for a pretty long time, haha!) or those long, sling-on-shoulder type. Hmm hmm hmm.

I felt lazy today. After school, went home, showered, took a nap and practically lazed around until now. If Mirelle didn't ask me to help her with some Math I don't know what I would have done. Seriously! Then I decided not to disturb Lia so I went down for a stroll and sat by the poolside. Saw Roxanne and her friends swimming.

Just lay motionless on the chair until Roxanne and her friends came to say hi. They finally spotted me! Haha. They asked what I was doing here alone. I didn't know how to answer them. Then one of Roxanne's friends, Mindie (I think?) suddenly said, "Hey, I have the same top!" And I was like, "Oh?" Lols. Went back up and fell asleep. -.-

Lia blogging about Candice Week

Hey guys! I'm sure you've all been waiting to hear about the "Candice Week" that Allie, Rachelle, Roxanne and I got involved in. ;)

So. Being a Candice was hmmmmmmmm! xD

So the four of us didn't cheat! Rach and Roxanne rang my bell and Mom was the one who opened the door. I was showering at that time so they had some of Mom's chocolate cake while waiting. To be honest, I totally forgot about Candice Week! But coincidentally I wore a skirt and my hair was down because I just washed it. I went to the living room and only remembered when I saw them. Hahahaha! That was funny!

Then we decided to ring Allie's bell to check. Allie wore a mini denim skirt with the white halter neck from Roxy (when we went out together) but her hair was clipped up. Rach, Roxanne and I went inside for awhile and we decided to cut off the third agreement (Do not tie up hair). We also specified that we carry our handbags with us when we go out, and not everywhere. LOL.

Whenever we tell Candice about our 'progress' she'll laugh so much. She thinks we're retards. x)

Anyways we couldn't wear skirts/dresses all the time because we can't wear those to sleep. Haha!

On Saturday, Rach, Allie, Candice and I went to the mall. We spent nearly two hours in... (what's the shop's name???) because everyone went crazyyyy. LOL.

So that was the Candice Week. LOL. We are retards! :D

So Lia and I went downstairs for awhile and we saw Rach and her sister eating at the cafe. Lia and I wanted to scare her from behind since it was only the two of them. Roxanne, who was sitting facing us grinned while we chaaaaarged at poor Rach drinking her soup. Hahahaha!

Then we sat with them and we chatted until Roxanne finished her ice cream cake. They invited us upstairs to their place and so we spent the rest of the day with them. It was fun! Talked a lot. Rachelle's mom made some delicious fried potato chips with cheese for us.

Then Rach suggested that we have a ''Candice Week" for fun where we'll dress like her for a whole week. We all agreed! Roxanne is in it too. So, starting from tomorrow,

1. Shorts, pants and jeans are restricted.
2. Carry handbag everywhere.
3. No tying up hair.

Hahaha! This is gonna be so fun! We called her to tell her about this and she laughed. LOL. Sorry Candice. It's just for fun. ;))

Updates about school have arrived. ;)

Mrs. Monique is our teacher of the year. She's really strict but fun all the same. She announced our Monitors that day and congratulations to Alisa and Amy! Haha, it'll be such a change with our crazy Alisa as our Monitor. Lol!

The Student Secretaries are Catherine and Ailla. They've never been on the job before, and so has Alisa and Amy, but I know they'll do a great job!

And the prefects! This year, the system has changed. There will be less than 10 prefects in our entire Form and they've chosen the best EIGHT out of all the six classes. I don't know who made the change in the system but now is eight going to keep the order of two Forms, ours and the Lower. Out of those eight, three was chosen from my class! The other five are from other classes.

True enough. LOL! Actually it was Candice who started it first. Or was it Rachelle? Anyways, one of those fashion queens (haha!) started the trend and one by one all of us started to follow up. Heh. We look like adults wannabes. Haha! Then Candice came dressed very formally, with a pair of shades on her head, wearing a spaghetti-strapped white, flowy dress - gorgeous lah. This crazy woman doesn't know how to dress when she comes for tuition. HAHA joking!

Hahaha. My turn!

Pronounced as Lea or Leah, Liya or Lia, it is apparently Italian and I won't tell you its meaning because it's far too sad though it doesn't really match my life. OK fine. My name means 'weary'.

Weary: Physically or mentally fatigued.

Crazy, right? How sad! I think that I am a very energetic person. Weary?! Allie, you're lucky that your nameS have good meanings. LOL.

My name is Jinney Shen I-Lia. My friends call me Lia, in fact everybody does. I don't know how it came about, though, maybe they thought that Lia is a nicer name than Jinney. My sister, Jean, is actually called Jean. Anyways, my Chinese name, I-Lia, has a hyphen - people are often oblivious of it, much to my despair, LOL - and it is pronounced as Ee Lea. You must have thought that it is Ai Lea at the first glance, am I right? But now you know.

Like Allie, I absolutely love shopping so much that I am starting this post with it! I prefer going to the mall with Allie because we would be able to take our time to try on the clothes in the fitting room, decide on which colour is nicer, properly choose from the racks instead of doing it twice as fast when Mum is around. At least when Allie's Mum is with her, it's not that bad, but shopping really needs time. No?

Dancing is a passion. I can't really choose between dancing and shopping because I equally indulge in them. My friends and I take part in dancing competitions once in a while and I am always made the leader. Lol! We won one of the categories in a dancing event we took part in not long ago. Besides dancing, I like reading, drawing, swimming and more.

I love my family - there's my mum who makes me so happy whenever she lets me go shopping for long hours (haha!) and cooks the best food, my ever loving dad, my older sister Jean and of course, my relatives and all that. The four of us stay together in this twin suite, next to Allie's family.

I like salads. I don't know why, but it's my favourite appetizer and dessert. Moving on!

My friends are awesome. Allie is my best friend whom I've known for so many years. There's Candice who never wears jeans/pants, just to let you know, HAHA, and I have to agree with Allie that she's America's Next Top Model. No joke! Rachelle is cute, pretty and is always smiling. :) Xing E is a happy-go-lucky girl, very nice and she writes for the school magazine. Sabrienna is fun, funny, nice and Roxylicious! xD Desiree is a born leader. She is always commended by teachers and she is looked up to because of her role-modelness. Hahaha. And etc etc etc.

Name origin: English

That's my first name. No, actually it's Alinea. That's for short. Hello, world. I'm the first to blog, again! Lia will do it later I guess. We share this account. This blog is gonna be done up quite similarly!

We're close to being called citizens of Singapore. We moved out of Malaysia not long ago. Lia's dad had got a promotion in his job or something like that, and our families discussed it and here we are now.

I am not exactly a Filipina. My mother's mother (my grandmother who was deceased before I was born) is one. I was born there and after that we moved to Malaysia. Except when being in the Philippines, Lia was always with me. Is it fate or luck, I ask?

My second name. Or should I say, maiden name? It's my grandmother's name, actually. Aqua/turquoise is my favourite colour! In the Vox blog, I always used that colour to do my blog posts but I don't think it'd go well with the white background now.

I am often seen on my desk studying, reading, drawing, whatever intellectual. Later on you wouldn't find me indoors as I would have escaped outdoors already, either working out, playing sports, swimming, tuition, meeting up with my friends at the mall, or whatsoever. Have I mentioned how much Lia and I loooooooooooove shopping? The mall is our second home. Our friends know that! We really indulge in fashion and clothes.

My third and middle name. Also my favourite because it's so unique. It's like a Filipino name for me. My sister's third name is Melodi. Our third names sound musical, don't they?An aria and a melody...

I've got great friends. Apart from my best friend Lia, all our other friends at school really make life interesting! There's Rachelle, absolutely fashionable, smiley and fun! She lives in the block next to ours. There's Candice, our very own supermodel! Rich, girly and tall, she has the perfect figure for a model. Seriously! And then there's Xing E, the most perky and hyper one among us, Desiree, our popular, outgoing rolemodel, Sabrienna who lives in the same block as us, always wearing Roxy things (Haha!) and many more. Guys, Lia will say something about you too later on, so brace yourselves! Haha just kidding. x) Anyways, we always do cool things together like shopping, swimming and dancing. Anyway. Many say that my mother looks Malay/Nyonya because of her tan skin. I admire my parents very much. I find them so fun, loving and humourous. Both language professors, the Malaysian slangs 'lah', 'mah' and all that are restricted or I'd find myself flying out of the window. Haha, hyperbole, hyperbole x) I have a little sister, Mirelle whom I adore! I love taking care of her and helping her out with homework but I guess she's still too young for me to share secrets and all those stuff.
